Motivation plays a key role in the formation of cognitive activity of younger schoolchildren. Increasing the level of educational motivation al-lows creating conditions for effective teaching of schoolchildren. There-fore, the activity of increasing educational motivation is one of the most significant for a modern school. The communicative and educational envi-ronment of the school has a significant potential in increasing the motiva-tion of students, ensuring the implementation of individual educational needs of schoolchildren, the activation of their learning. The program de-veloped by the authors and implemented in practice for the formation of educational motivation of younger schoolchildren in the conditions of the communicative and educational environment of the school has shown its high effectiveness, which is confirmed by the results of psycho-pedagogical diagnostics.
