TO THE QUESTION OF THE METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING THE CHINESE LANGUAGE: SOME PHONETIC FEATURES OF PUTONGHUA

In this article, the authors study the features of teaching phonetics of the Chinese language at the initial stage. Unlike European languages, Chinese should be studied in a "complex" (phonetics, hieroglyphics, grammar). However, at the beginning of language learning, special attention should be paid to the phonetic component, and only then connect the grammatical and hieroglyphic aspects. The teacher faces such important tasks as developing students' basic communication skills in Chinese and laying the theoretical and practical foundations for learning the language in the future. The research material was the work of Chinese, Soviet and Russian linguists.
