Lin Yang   (graduate student Department of Methodology Moscow Pedagogical State University)

Russia and China are gradually drawing closer and this is the reason for the growing interest in traditions, language, culture and teaching methods. Comparing these countries within the framework of preschool education, it should be noted that the very idea of a universal kindergarten, accessible and intended for children of all strata of society, appeared thanks to communist reforms. However, while traditional forms of working with children are preserved in Russia, in China, the government has long been raising the issue of the need for reforms and the restructuring of preschool education for the realities of the modern world. This article will attempt to provide additional arguments in favor of further transformation of the preschool education system. The article will consider the views of teachers, as well as leading experts in the field of education and art in Russia and China. A comparative analysis of approaches to teaching fine arts has been carried out and prospects for further development of countries in this direction have been identified.
