The article discusses the difficulties that foreign students face when teaching Russian in groups with Russian students. The ways of teaching Russian to foreign students are discussed. The article considers such aspects of the problem as identifying the level of preparedness of students, the introduction of professional vocabulary and terminology at the initial stage of studying the discipline "Russian language"
