THE FUNCTIONING OF THE TERMS "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" AND "LEAN MANUFACTURING"

The article is devoted to economic terms that are actively used in speeches by politicians, economists and public figures in the media and the Internet. The aim of the work is to study the semantic field of the phrases "sustainable development" and "lean manufacturing", used as terms in a scientific text and as abstract concepts in the media. Some peculiarities of usage are revealed (formation of pleonastic phrases and creation of stylistic contrast).
