THE RELATIONSHIP AND INFLUENCE OF THE BEIJING OPERA TRADITION AND VOCAL EDUCATION IN CHINA

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the organization of vocal education in modern China. The professional requirements for vocalists in China are significantly influenced by the tradition of the Beijing opera. The model of vocal education in China was originally adapted from the North American tradition. However, the specificity of the Beijing opera imposes a serious imprint on the content of the educational process, as a result of which Chinese vocalists have a number of distinctive features.
