RUSSIANISMS IN LOPE DE VEGA'S DRAMA «THE GRAND DUKE OF MOSCOW»

The article explores Russianisms in the drama of the outstanding Spanish playwright Lope de Vega «The Grand Duke of Moscow». This is the first work in Spanish literature devoted to the Russian theme. The article talks about the historical context of the drama, presents the points of view of various researchers (including V. E. Bagno and N. I. Balashov), and gives a summary. The dictionary and corpus analysis of the Russianisms found in the drama is also given. When writing the article, the descriptive method and the method of comparative analysis, as well as the method of lexicographic definitions were used. As a result of the research, we came to the conclusion that when borrowings from the Russian language were first used in Spanish fiction, and it was also established when the first Russianisms were recorded in written documents of the Spanish language.
