Musical culture as a semiotic subsystem is part of the general semiotic system of culture. It is presented as a means of communication and transmission of accumulated experience from generation to generation through musical signs, languages, texts, styles, which serve as means of conveying information. The conceptosphere of the art of music can be presented as a special semantic cultural field, which encodes the distinctive features of cultural eras and styles, their ideological and spiritual content, typical elements of musical language, giving an idea about the peculiarities of musical thinking and outlook. The component analysis of the music conceptosphere indicates that it includes the following basic concepts: sound, musical instrument, musician, listener. Each of these concepts is associated with a number of more specific concepts, which are also important components of the conceptosphere under consideration.
