DIGITALIZATION AND THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

This article examines the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the training of higher school teachers in Russia. Special attention is paid to the relevance of introducing artificial intelligence into the educational process and its role in modernizing traditional approaches to learning. The key competencies that future teachers should develop in order to effectively use technology in teaching are discussed. The existing training programs are analyzed and their compliance with modern requirements, as well as the problems and barriers faced by educational institutions are identified. The guiding documents on digital transformation in the field of education, including the use of artificial intelligence technologies and methods, have been studied and analyzed. The system-forming elements of higher school teacher training in the framework of improving the level of information and communication technology competencies are considered. Possible ways of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process by the teaching staff have been identified. Recommendations for improving teacher training in the context of digitalization of education are proposed.
