Holophrastic constructions, functioning in the communicative space of the Internet, are analyzed in the light of the word-text theory. Production base for holophrastic constructions, their contextuality and motivation are considered. Particular attention is paid to their imagery, connotative content, semantic integrity. Linguistic and non-linguistic reasons for the occurrence of holophrastic occasionalisms are described in this article.
