FOLK TRADITIONS IN ALIBEK FATAKHOV'S POEM "UDARNIK GASAN"

The article focuses on the poem "Udarnik Hasan" as the greatest creative success of A. Fatakhov, as well as its artistic features. Our work was based on a review of specific texts in the original language, as well as an analysis of literary criticism on this topic. In our research, we examined inaccuracies in other researchers' definitions of the poem's specific features and expressed our perspective on these issues. We analyzed aspects such as the use of landscape sketches, their role, and functions. An assessment is given of how and at what level the author uses such artistic means as portraiture, individualization of speech, the richness of folkloric poetics, dialogues, etc. We have also made an attempt to understand some discrepancies in the area of ideological and thematic assessment of this work, when the excessive ideological nature of the author's depiction of reality is not inferior to the ideological coloring in the understanding and interpretation of the presented researchers.
