SOCIAL INTERACTION IN EDUCATION: A SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF APPROACHES TO DEFINING THE ESSENCE AND FUNCTIONS

The article presents an interdisciplinary analysis of the phenomenon of social interaction in education in order to overcome the fragmentation of its interpretations. The essence of interaction as a subject-subject dialogical process, which acts as a system-forming mechanism of learning, development and socialization, is revealed. It is proved that its purposeful organization transforms the educational process into a space of collective thought activity.
