Representation of problems of Assyrians of Ukraine in 1920-1930th: historiography of pre-Soviet period

The article deals with the analytical review of the pre-Soviet historiography researches on the problems of the Assyrian population in Ukrainian SSR in 1920-1930th. The classification of these works has been offered. The periods of research activity, caused by international and state interests, have been distinguished and described. The actual analysis of history of Assyrians vital activity has been presented from the point of view of their geopolitical self-presentation and peculiarities of ethnic church development.
