Features of teaching a second foreign language in a medical school

This article is dedicated to the peculiarities of teaching a second foreign language (French) at the medical university. The phenomena of positive transfer and interference in the study of the second foreign language, especially when relying on the previously studied foreign language (English) and Latin are considered. The similarities and differences between the previously studied and the new foreign language are considered at different levels: phonetics, vocabulary and grammar.
