Social capital of an educational institution as a factor of formation of professionalism of the teacher

The article discusses the impact of social capital of educational institutions for professional development of the teacher. The authors reveal the meaning of the concepts of social capital and social capital of the organization, reviewed the main scientific approaches to their study. According to modern research, the development of formal and informal relations is the basis for the exchange of experiences and best practices, increases the rate of diffusion of innovation and reform, promote the motivation of teachers and stimulates their creativity. In contrast, the weak interaction, lack of ability to unite, hamper their professional development and, as a consequence, reduce the efficiency of the educational process.
