Historical aspect of the organizational beginning of financing and control over the financial activity of educational institutions of the Ministry of Public Education (on the example of the West Siberian educational district)

Funding issues are key to the activities of educational institutions. The proposed article, on the example of the West Siberian educational district, examines the system of financing and control over the use of financial resources by educational institutions of the Ministry of Public Education during the Russian Empire. Based on the analysis of sources, the principles of financing and control systems are shown, which, firstly, involve the Ministry of Public Education as a founder and control structure, and secondly, a rigid system of accountability by the regional and academic administration.
