Spatial modelling of reality in natural language

The subject under consideration is the phenomenon of cultural continuity and structural parallelism between practical sensory-figurative thinking and abstract theoretical thinking. The author points out that sensory images underlie modelling of the unobservable sectors of reality, such as social structure, kinship, mentality, interpersonal relations, vital values system, mathematical regularities etc. Primary attention is given to spatial images used to represent abstractions. The research is based on the English language material.
