Gender features of prosodics registration of the business speech (on an example of English language)

The article is devoted to the consideration of gender specificity of the phonetic design of speech in the business conversation of English. The article consists a description of the results of the acoustic analysis of the melody, range and tempo of speech performed using the Praat computer application. In the course of the study were identified the gender indicators of the phonetic design of female and male speech. The article gives the characteristics of the data based on the genre of the analyzed text and the gender of the communicants.
