System approach to improving motivation for foreign students in the process of education in Russian universities

The article describes a systematic approach to increasing the motivation of foreign students in the process of learning in Russian universities. Provides statistics on the number of foreign students in Russian universities at the beginning of the 2018 academic year. The author comes to the conclusion that the systematic approach is the most optimal in order to increase the motivation of foreign students in the learning process and allows focusing on three aspects: the professional activity of a future specialist - the student’s personal development - the social environment. In the article, the author presents the result of a study of educational motivation of foreign students in the amount of 50 people according to the method of A.A. Rean and V.A. Yakunin, in the modification N.Ts. Badmaeva for 5 years (from 1 to 5 courses). Next, a model system approach is proposed to increase the motivation of foreign students in the process of studying in Russian universities at each course.
