Zoononic vocabulary in the folklore of the Khanty people Kazim basin

The purpose of the article is to identify semantic and word-building zoonyms on the material of fairy tales told by the Khanty peoples. This article analyzes the lexical and semantic features of zoonyms on the material of collected texts of fairy tales, as well as an attempt is made to disclose the zoononymous structure of the Khanty language vocabulary. In order to select the studied units on the basis of a continuous sample, we used the lexicographic method. When analyzing various zoonyms used in the tales of the Khanty peoples, we used a comparative method. The main approaches used in our work can be called semitiological and onomasiological. Also, when writing the article, we took into account the method of component analysis and the method of linguistic-hastic. The scientific novelty of the work is the material on the basis of which the work is done. Tales of the Khanty peoples of the Kazym river basin are of interest from the point of view of the zoononymous vocabulary studied in them. The article analyzes the fairy tales «Otter and swan», «Deer and elk», «Dog and cat», «Why owls hunt mice», «Little mouse», «Seven mice», «Golden horse», «How the dog became with a man live». We came to the conclusion that in the tales of the Khanty people, animals are endowed with human skills, talk, and solve existing problems. Each animal in a fairy tale has its own character and role in the story. We managed to identify the most frequent zoonyms (hare, swan, deer, elk, birds, mouse, otter)
