Relevance of the project method in collective inventive activity in additional technological education

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the method of project. The analysis of theoretical and methodological aspects of inventive activity, features of innovative projects in the scientific and technical field has been held. The concept of a utility model as a result of the intellectual activity of the authors and as an object of patent rights is also given. The article discusses the practice of teaching students inventiveness according to the method of project in the conditions of additional technological education on the example of the activities of the Innovator Youth Innovation Center in Lipetsk. The article presents the results of the study of the development process of utility models in groups of different ages. Peculiarities of the way to achieve results for the goals of inventive projects are discovered. They are following: creating utility models and obtaining patents for utility models. A study of the application of the “TRIZ” methodology in groups of different age has been done, according to this study the disadvantages and advantages have been identified. The conclusion about the advantages and disadvantages of different age in the formation of cooperation and team building skills has been done. The relevance of the method of project in teaching students inventiveness in additional technological education is justified. The definition of the method of project as a universal organizational form of innovative technological activity of students is formulated.
