Formation of local history literacy of students as an actual task of secondary schools

This article discusses the relevance and features of the formation of local history literacy in the conditions of the school system, as well as its impact on the child. Local history literacy is presented as the basis of national and cultural self-identification. In addition, the authors justify the use of local lore texts in the educational space of schoolchildren in order to form local lore literacy.
