Features of thinking of a child with intellectual disabilities

The article raises the problem of the development of cognitive processes in preschool children with intellectual disabilities. Early diagnosis will facilitate the timely organization of correctional and developmental assistance to mentally retarded children. The author examines in detail the features of the mental operations of such children and gives recommendations for the development of thinking in the conditions of pre-school education.
