THE DOCTRINE ON THE ACTUAL DIVISON OF A SENTENCE IN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE LINGUISTICS

The history of studying the theory of the actual division of a sentence in Russian and Chinese linguistics is considered. Illustrative examples of a comparative analysis of the original stories of A.P. Chekhov with the translation into Chinese from the point of view of the actual division of the sentence are proposed. Specific advice is offered for Chinese Russianists in the study and teaching of this theory. Prospects for the study of this theory in Chinese linguistics are predicted.
