DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING PHYSICAL CULTURE

The aim of this study is to analyse which digital technologies are currently used in physical education teaching in the Russian Federation and abroad. The material basis for the study was formed by the following authors: G.F. Friskavati, J.F. Lee, P. Palicka, P. Paraskevaidis, A. Quintos-Ihos, D.B. Robinson, D.G. Radchenko, M.V. Anikin and others. The following conclusions are drawn as a result. The fact that most of the school pupils and university students are actively using smartphone applications, indicates the need to work in this direction. In addition, it was found that the processes slowing down the integration of DH in the educational process include four reasons: those related to teachers; those related to students; dependent on the environment; dependent on the policies of the educational organisation. The most common CTs are: personal computers, tablets. The most promising: use of video cameras with 3600 overview; Dartfish programme. Although it has traditionally been accepted that DH in the context of physical education teaching can increase students' motivation factor and help them learn motor skills faster, a number of researchers, among them J. Lee and H. Zhu, argue that DH is not an effective measure. For this reason the issue needs to be considered in more detail in future studies.
