FEATURES OF THE USE OF LEXICAL AND STYLISTIC MEANS IN A LITERARY TEXT AND THEIR ROLE IN CREATING A LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD (BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF NANCY MITFORD'S WORK "THE BLESSING")

This article is devoted to the study of lexical and stylistic means in Nancy Mitford's novel "The Blessing". Lexical and stylistic means carry certain information and serve for aesthetic impact on the reader. The conceptual categories of event, social, psychological and aesthetic reality reflecting the artistic reality created by the writer are considered. Theoretical and practical data are presented, proving that with the help of lexical and stylistic, the linguistic picture of the writer's world is realized, which is a certain way of conceptualizing reality. The author draws attention to the synthesis of artistic images by introducing, along with the translation of generally accepted images, an individual author's position.
