HISTORICAL MEMORY OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR ON THE PAGES OF “QUESTIONS OF HISTORY” JOURNAL (BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF 1953)

This article presents some results of a study on the transformation of the historical memory of the First World War in Russia. The object of the study is the First World War in Russia; subject - publications about the First World War on the pages of 12 issues of the journal "Questions of History" for 1953; the goal is to review views on the First World War on the pages of the magazine during the specified period. It is concluded that in 1953 stories related to the First World War were presented on the pages of the journal Voprosy istorii on an ongoing basis. It is considered how these stories were reflected in terms of the terminology used, content, political aspects and methodology.
