PROBLEMS OF TEACHING PHYSICAL CULTURE IN GENERAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF RUSSIA

The aim of this study: to analyze the problems of physical education teaching in general education institutions of the Russian Federation. The material basis of the research was formed by the following authors: T.K. Dashkov, A.A. Ilchenko, A.I. Isakova, K. Mahmadamin, M.V. Safronova, P. Reinier, J.E. Rink. As a result, the following conclusions were made. We found the following problems: the physical education room was not seen as a classroom, because students had access to it at all times; there was no overhead cover, which exposed both students and teachers to direct sunlight; physical education was seen as an auxiliary subject of the school. In addition, the following should be noted. Measures need to be taken to mitigate the possible "burnout" of PE teachers, as well as to form a monitoring system which excludes top-down control.
