AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTIONS AS DISCOURSE WORDS

This article examines the function of authorizing discourse words. Authorizing constructions express information and organize the structure of the text, they are used as discourse words to express the presence of the author, giving the discourse a subjective character. The method of contextual analysis is used in this work. The source of material is such a resource as the National Corpus of the Russian language. The main conclusions are that authorizing discourse words indicate the author's position, involve the reader in an interactive dialogue with the author, contribute to the creation of the atmosphere of sincere communication.
