As technology for processing, storage and transfer of information rapidly develops, the need for professionals from all areas of society has increased. University education reform in the new economic era involves overcoming the separation and conflict between humanities and scientific education, eliminating the disguise of humanities potential and the sidelining of humanities studies, the limited, one-sided specialization of education and its utility. Analyzing the roots of traditional pragmatism and narrow instrumental rationality in educational processes we should focus on the pedagogical goal of educating well-integrated people of the new era and stimulating, supporting profound generative integration of humanities and science education in terms of scientific concepts, educational contents and didactic methods.
